Farmsent — Building the World Where Farmers Cannot Fail

Farmsent — the world's first farmers' blockchain — has moved beyond helping farmers sell. It now builds the hard and digital infrastructure that lets farmers own the value chain: from soil to shelf to settlement. Rooted in Bali, reaching across Asia and the Gulf. Open the Portal →

Why Ownership

Selling raw crops is a gamble. Owning the chain is wealth.

A few bad seasons of yield or price can wipe a farming family out. Sustainable wealth arrives only when the farmer produces — and sells — the end product. So Farmsent pivoted from a sales-agent model to a landlord-and-ecosystem model.

The Six Pillars

Six pillars of the ecosystem

The landlord-and-ecosystem model rests on six pillars — the physical and digital foundations beneath farmer prosperity.

Infrastructure · Hard & Digital

Two kinds of foundation

Underneath the pillars sit two classes of infrastructure. Hard: fencing, roads, cold storage, customs corridors. Digital: agricultural sensors and stablecoin rails.

DePIN · The Sensor Garden

A living network of sensors

Digital infrastructure begins in the soil — DePIN, decentralized physical infrastructure. A team of sensors gives every field a verifiable on-chain identity on peaq, bridging farming to transparent records.

Intelligence

Data into actionable intelligence

AI turns raw sensor data into guidance any farmer can use — through an email-login dashboard, no advanced tech required.

Financial Rails & The Superapp

Financial rails in every pocket

The rails that cut out predatory middlemen arrive as one simple app — Web3 made invisible for farmers and Farmer Producer Organizations.

Verifiable Quality

Verifiable quality, from farm to table

Traceable branding and certification — proof instead of promises, already tested in real markets.

Zones & Alliances

Relationships that open sovereign doors

SEZ concessions, customs corridors and certification are unlocked by relationships — Farmsent's deepest asset across Asia and the Gulf.

Sustainable Energy & Community

Turning wasteland into power and community

Sustainable energy is a pillar of the ecosystem — powering cold storage, processing and the villages themselves.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

What is Farmsent?

Farmsent is the world's first farmers' blockchain — now focused on building the hard and digital infrastructure that lets farmers own the value chain. Instead of acting as a sales agent for commodities, Farmsent builds the foundations — zones, energy, traceability, certification, financial and investment rails — on which farmers produce and sell the end product themselves.

Why did Farmsent pivot from marketplace to infrastructure?

Selling raw commodities is a high-risk gamble for the producer: a few bad years of yield or price can wipe a farmer out. Sustainable wealth arrives only when the farmer produces and sells the end product. Farmsent's mission is to provide the physical and digital foundations that make that transition possible — in its CEO's words, "We are no longer just helping farmers sell; we are building the world where they cannot fail."

What are the six pillars?

Agri-focused Special Economic Zones for processing and export; sustainable energy, including a collective solar initiative in Indonesia; traceable branding through DePPs.io blockchain traceability — Verifiable Quality over brand hype; certification bodies such as Halal certification; financial rails for Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs); and investment rails such as contract farming and farming societies.

Is Farmsent still a marketplace?

The farmer-to-wholesaler marketplace continues as a service inside the wider ecosystem, but it is no longer the core business. The core business is the infrastructure — hard (fencing, roads, cold storage, customs) and digital (agricultural sensors and stablecoin rails) — that lets farmers own the value chain.

What is DePPs.io?

DePPs.io is the blockchain traceability layer Farmsent integrates into consumer brands, so a product's quality and provenance are verifiable on-chain — Verifiable Quality over brand hype.

What is DePIN in Farmsent?

DePIN is decentralized physical infrastructure. Farmsent deploys a team of sensors that each receive a unique on-chain identity on the peaq blockchain, bridging the physical world of farming to transparent digital records. A 7-in-1 soil sensor — EC, pH, NPK, sun radiation, temperature and micro-weather — is deployed today, with tree, supply-chain, NPK and weather sensors in development.

What is the Farmsent Superapp?

An all-in-one Web3 application for farmers: email or Google login with no seed phrases and no gas fees, .grow Web3 addresses, fiat on/off ramps, sensor maps, and a doctor module bringing remote consultations to rural communities. It is powered by peaq, Arcana wallet abstraction and Unstoppable Domains — and its rails are designed to carry FPO payments, domestic and cross-border.

What traceability and certification work has Farmsent done?

Rainbow Chicken — the first-ever on-chain Halal certification, from South Africa to Bahrain and Saudi Arabia — and a successful market entry through the Alosra supermarket in Bahrain. Certification bodies are being developed to open further high-value global markets.

How do I take part?

Who is behind Farmsent?

Farmsent is co-founded by Sim Khela — the Indonesian Ambassador for the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) — alongside co-founders Yog Shrusti, Saleh Sharif and Je.M. The project is rooted in Bali, Indonesia.

What is an Agrotech Village?

Farmsent turns wasteland into renewable power that feeds Agrotech Villages — bringing energy, shelter, farming, processing and technology together in one place — alongside on-the-ground community work in Bali.
